A Few Things To Avoid When Generating Web Traffic

Since the lack of traffic is most marketers' biggest obstacle in their efforts to earn faster, a good portion of them goes back to illegal methods of generating web traffic, which results in disaster for their business.

So what are the methods that you should avoid?!

1. Traffic exchange sites

Traffic exchange sites are the first thing you should seriously avoid. Never place your official page on Traffic exchange sites, especially if your strategy is to promote a keyword based site. That kind of traffic generation can not only negatively affect your page rank but also run the risk that your site is completely removed from the search results due to the use of such methods.

Search engines consider such sources of traffic illegitimate and all the traffic that comes from them is of no value. Therefore, stay away from the traffic exchange sites if you do not want your efforts result in disaster because of a little ignorance.

2. Posting comments with backlinks

Another thing you absolutely must pay attention to is posting comments with a link to your blog posts and forums. This technique of driving traffic also has more flaws than advantages, and in particular may adversely affect the page rank of your website.

The first drawback of this technique is that if you leave too many comments on the site with rank 0 or 1, the search engines are able to characterize your link as spam and you can be punished by dumping your web site from search results. It is all applies to leaving comments with a backlinks on the forums.

Also, with this technique you are exposed to possible misuse of your link by hackers and to bombarding of spam comments and other malicious fraudulent referrer sites which definitely contributes to possibility of being punished from a web browser, by expulsion from search results or giving you low page rank.

But if you leave your comment with your link, do not exaggerate. Your comments need to be natural and in accordance with the theme, and that the site where you leave a comment have minimal rank of 2, 3 or 4 and beyond. SEOquake can be used for research.

3. Cheap PPC services

Cheap PPC campaigns that can do more harm than good to your website, you can attract more unwanted audience then those "targeted". The reason for this is that the users of such PPC services in most cases are deceived and their links end up on scam traffic exchange sites instead of highly relevant sites or in the worst case, on thousands of such whose traffic is totally useless for any type of online business, in short, these PPC services are waste of money, time and effort.

Using cheap PPC services, your link is being placed on sites that are far from the relevancy with your business, so avoid this method of collecting traffic and rather pay a little more and make a campaign on one of the legitimate and proven services such as Google AdWords.

Bottom Line

These were some of the tips that you should avoid by collecting traffic on your website. My recommendation is that whatever you do for your online business, work in light, natural and organic way, as this will avoid any inconvenience and greatly save your effort, money, time and most importantly - the nerves

How to Use Keywords to Boost Traffic, Focus Your Writing, and Make Google Love You

Did you know that when people go to Google and type in words and phrases, they are generating Keywords? The real terms used by you and me and millions of other people all over the world help Google determine what words and phrases are important - or key - to their user-base. Google tracks these terms, and then uses sophisticated algorithms to collate that data with actual content from the World Wide Web. The result? The pages you get whenever you do one of those Google searches. If you have a Web Site or Blog, and you want people to find you, knowing how to use Keywords will help tremendously.

Because of the connection between Keywords and traffic, if you use Keywords well, you can significantly increase the traffic that arrives at your Web Site or Blog. So, what IS the connection between Keywords and traffic? When a person performs a search, she gets a result. The next thing she does is clicks on a link. Once she clicks a link, she becomes an instance of traffic to that Web Site or Blog. Remember, the search terms she used are Keywords, and the clicking equals traffic, so that's the connection!

Do you know how to use Keywords to keep your writing focused? If you find yourself at a loss for what to blog about, just take a look at your categories. Why? Because many of your categories should be your Keywords or Long Tail Keywords! Look for categories with low post numbers, and choose one of those to focus on when writing that elusive blog post. Doing this not only helps you break out of that writing slump, but also it helps ensure you've got balanced Keyword content on your Web Site and Blog.

Knowing how to use Keywords means allowing the words and phrases to flow naturally. This is also known as organic Keyword use. Trying to force Keywords into your post tiles or body content will end up sounding awkward to readers, and Google may think you are tying to artificially elevate your results by stuffing your Keywords into place. Don't worry though! If you write about the topics near and dear to you and your audience, your Keywords will flow from your fingertips organically, and Google will love you.

The appropriate use of Keywords will boost your Search Engine Optimization (SEO), drive more traffic to your Web Site and Blog, focus your writing, make your readers happy, and improve your page rank. So, what are you waiting for? Get to work on those Keywords!

How To Increase Traffic To Your Website

Having a website is only the beginning of successfully marketing online. Now you have to get people to visit (i.e. drive traffic) your spankin' new sparkly website. And you want to drive quality traffic - visitors who are actually your target market and are likely to buy from you.

Here are a few tips to increase traffic to your website:
Optimize your content. Identify keywords that are used to search for the type of products and services you offer and work them into the text on your site. This can help your SEO ranking. These keywords should ideally appear a few times in your titles, the first 1 - 2 paragraphs of the page, and sprinkled throughout the article. However, don't overdo it - Google will penalize your for that. If you have a WordPress site, get plugins such as All-In-One SEO or Yoast, which you can add "SEO Title" and "Meta Keyword" to all your posts and pages - this is great if getting the keywords into your title and articles is challenging.
To help you find the right keywords, use Google AdWords to get insight into which ones are more competitive and how many searches they get per month. You can try looking up phrases or questions - and use those phrases or questions as your blog title.
Use Alt Tags for Images. Search engine can't "see" image, but they can "see" alt tags just like html text. This is just as important as tagging the text if you want search engines to notice you.
Submit your website URL to search engine directories.
Add sharing buttons to your blog posts to help your fans spread the word for you - word of mouth of powerful.

Driving traffic to your site is only half the story, you also want to make your visitors stick around and return from time to time. Here are a few tips to help you do so:

Be mindful of your website's load time. Although it's not an issue for most, it does get frustrating when you have huge images, and unnecessary bells and whistles that make people wait forever (and that can be a matter of a few seconds in the land of the interwebs). If your visitors have to wait too long for each page to load, they may just run out of patience and leave. If you have codes (e.g. tracking) that can be placed either in the header or the footer area, put them in the footer area so that it won't affect the load time of the top part of your pages.
Make sure your website is easy to navigate so that your audience can find the relevant content quickly and easily. If they can't find what they need, they will get frustrated and leave, thinking that you don't have what they are looking for.
Write in "simple" and proper English - check your grammar and spelling, but avoid "big words" and jargons as much as you can. You can test your articles' "readability score" here. Ideally, your score for "grade level" should be around 7 - 8 (means a 7 - 8 grader can understand), to make your articles easy to digest and accessible to most.

Blog Post Writing for Traffic

Blogs are a great way to increase traffic to your products and services. However, many people are struggling with getting the results they want. If you are a blogger, you probably understand what I'm talking about. So how do you use blog post writing to increase traffic and sales? Well there is a process for doing this, and it's not that difficult. Here are some steps I think you should consider:

Writing a great title is the first step. How do you expect people to take the time to read your article if the title doesn't grab their attention? You wouldn't, right? Crafting a title that grabs your target audience's attention is crucial. Use words like, secret, strategies, missing formula, etc. In other words, write titles that appeal to their emotions.

Choosing the right keywords to write your blog posts around is the second step. The fact is that you cannot get traffic to your blog posts if you use the wrong keywords. You must compile a list of the best keywords in your market and construct your content around them. People are searching for information by using keywords. Find the exact key word phrases that your target audience uses to find you and write a blog post around them.

The third step is to write great content. Don't be boring. Tell your story. Give people something to read that sparks their imagination. There are always hot topics to write about in each market. Find the hot topics that people are raving about and construct an article about it.

Fourth, start building links to your posts. In order to get your posts indexed in Google, Yahoo and Bing, you must build links to your pages. This is just the way things work. It's alright to be somewhat aggressive with your linking strategy. However, I wouldn't recommend getting too many links too fast. This can cause the search engines to become suspicious of your link building methods.

Finally, use social networking websites to spread the word. The best way to get your content all over the web is to get others to do it for you. Social buzz is awesome! You can write a great blog post about something controversial and then share it with people on these social websites. If your content is excellent, it will go viral. Leveraging the power of many people is far greater than leveraging your own efforts.

By the way, do you want access to a complete follow-up sales funnel that generates 100's of leads to your business every day, and generates $3,480 in sales per day?

Increase Website Traffic With Solo Ads

To increase website traffic with solo ads, you must follow a simple strategy. It is really easy to spend too much money with solo advertising. Fortunately for you, there is a simple way to improve the amount of traffic you get from these ads while at the same time, saving money. Here's a plan I think you will appreciate:

Start small. This is so important. If you really want to succeed with this form of advertising, you must start small. When you spend a lot of money on a big advertising package without testing smaller packages first, you almost always lose money. This is because you have to find the e-zine publishers who meet your expectations. If they have a list of people who are internet marketers, and you try to promote your network marketing opportunity to their list, your results won't be great. You must match up your market with the market of their list.

Scale your marketing. Once you have found at least 5 e-zine publishers that you did well with, scale it up. Purchase the bigger ad packages. If you are building your own list (as you should be) you will notice a huge influx in sales. Now that you have found a good publisher, run a solo ad with them at least once per week.

Communicate with the e-zine publisher first. Never purchase a solo ad package without emailing the publisher first. This will ensure that you don't waste your money. Unfortunately, there are many publishers online who are just trying to take your money. These are the people who will not respond to your email. If you get a friendly response, you know the publisher is good. Also, look for comments from people who have purchased from them before. Positive feedback is a great sign.

Test each solo ad source at least 3 times. In order to get great results with solo ads, test each publisher's smaller packages first. After 3 tests, you should have a great idea of how well your ads will run. Once you have an ad that performs well with a particular e-zine publisher, run it again. You can run your ads with one publisher at least once per week. This will give you lots of subscribers who will be exposed to your products and services.

Solo ads are a great source of traffic because the people on the publisher's e-zine have already decided that the want information related to your niche. And the best part is that you get to leverage the credibility of the e-zine owner and this will give you a huge advantage.

By the way, do you want access to a complete follow up sales funnel that generates 100's of leads to your business every day, and generates $3,480 in sales per day?

If so, I suggest that you get your FREE 7 day money making boot-camp and get the exact system I personally use to generate $15,000 and more per month online by clicking here.

What Are Ad Swaps and How Can I Use Ad Swapping To Build My Email List

I've had quite a few people ask me what are Ad Swaps and how can I use them to build my email list.

An "Ad Swap" is when two marketers whose list share similar interests, exchange an offer that they then promote to each others list. (If one marketer has a much larger list than the other, the one with the smaller list may need to email the offer out twice, to send a fair amount of traffic.)

Swaps are nothing new in the internet marketing world and it is probably one of the fastest ways to grow your list for FREE. While some marketers swear by Ad Swaps you want to be careful because sending too much "junk" offers just for the sake of swapping can devalue your email list and increase your unsubscribes if you are not careful.

You must remember that your goal is to build a meaningful relationship with your subscribers and provide the best value at all times. I'm one who really believes that it is not the size of your list that makes you the most money but how responsive your list is determines how much money you make online. So remember at the end of the day it's still about relationship marketing and if you give away enough awesome content to your list, they will have no choice but to care what you have to say.

They will listen to you, they will respond to your offers, buy your recommended products and they will download everything that lands in their inbox. When you are doing an ad sway you are essentially letting another marketer "borrow" your subscribers and they are doing the same.

So What Is Ad Swapping and How Do I Use To Build My List

When used correctly and in moderation Ad Swaps have proven to be an incredible strategy you can use to easily build your list fast.

The great thing about Ad Swaps is that they are absolutely free, so there is no need for you to have some big marketing budget, and you get people on your list who you know have an interest in the topics of your niche.

How To Get Started With Ad Swaps

Before I go into the details of getting started with Ad Swaps, you need to know that you can't do Ad Swaps unless you have a at least a few hundred people on your list.

Very few people unless they have a really new or small list like you will be willing to do a swap if they're going to get less than a dozen subscribers from it. So I recommend you work your butt off to generate a list using other strategies like Facebook marketing, YouTube marketing, Blogging until you've built up a list of about 300 subscribers. You'll find plenty of other marketers that are just getting started who'd be happy to do a swap with you.

The idea of Ad Swapping is to do Ad Swaps with other marketers who have a similar sized list as yours. Otherwise, you will need to match clicks, meaning you agree on a number of clicks, just like with Solo Ads. This way, if one person has less subscribers than the other, he or she will continue to send emails until the number of clicks are matched.

So that is why it's important to work with partners who have similar sized lists. If you have 5000 subscribers and the other has 7500, you look at each other's average click through rate and agree on a number of clicks. If on average you can deliver 250 clicks and your partner can deliver 400. You can agree to send a second email to a smaller portion of your list until the 400 clicks are matched.

Got it? Good!

This is one of the simplest strategies you can use to build your list for free. Ad Swapping and Solo Ads are two strategies that work hand in hand. And... If you'd like to build a list of say 75,000 people as fast as possible, I'd tell you to use solely Ad Swaps and Solo Ads to achieve that goal quickly.

The Difference Between Ad Swapping and Solo Ads

Ad Swaps are essentially Solo Ads... But instead of paying to have your email sent to someone's list, you simply return the favor.Law of reciprocity! So bottom line is Solo Ads are PAID, Ad Swaps are FREE!

With all that being said, keep in mind that is you run too many Ad Swaps it can annoy and drive people away from your list. I know marketers who do Ad Swaps every day of the month. Some months they start with 1000 subscribers and end with 7500. That's the power of what an Ad Swap can do to drive people onto your list.

HOWEVER!! I can guarantee my list of 1000 buyers bring me more money than their list of 7,500 because I have built a meaningful relationship with my list. Who wants subscribers who opt in only to ditch you after a month! So while BIG can be be GOOD, BIG is not always BETTER when you are looking at " responsiveness" of your list. I know some marketers who have lists of 100,000 people plus, yet they get an average response rate of a few percent. That's my warning! This is a very powerful strategy, so go try some Ad Swaps but be careful how much you use them.

Rules To Follow When Doing Ad Swaps

Here are a few Ad Swapping Rules to build your list by:

Do not do more than 3 Ad Swaps per month.Only do swaps with people who have high quality and free products to give away to your list. (Their free report, product or download must be a good fit for your subscribers)Get proof of list size and response rate.Only swap with trustworthy marketers who have responsive email lists.

Your online business is your lifeline to your income and you do not want to mess that up. So make sure you only do Ad Swaps with reputable marketers who know what they are doing.

Here is a quick tip... If you need confirmation on the quality of a potential Ad Swap partner's content opt in to their list before accepting or proposing an Ad Swap. Just to make sure they provide the same type of value you've promised your own list.

What Do You Need To Make Sure Your Successful?

Domain + Web Hosting (To Host Your Capture Page)Autoresponder (Aweber)Capture Page (Optimize Press)Free "Irresistible" Offer (Your free offer to give away - free report/product)Onetime Offer (OTO)

These are all of the list building essentials. You don't necessarily need a onetime offer, but an OTO is going to make a huge difference in terms of ROI. You basically need to giveaway a free "product" to someone else's subscribers to entice them to join your list.

When they opt in, they are HOT, so take advantage of this by delivering the opt in bait immediately and then present them with a great onetime offer. A onetime offer can be an affiliate product or your own signature product that you are giving away at a discounted or "special price". Make sure your OTO must is relevant and related to your free offer.

Where To Find Ad Swaps?

Super simple.

Do Solo Ads Increase Website Traffic?

I get this question all the time. Do solo ads increase website traffic? Well, it can if you know what you are doing. Unfortunately, many people just dive in without knowing the process. And in result, lose lots of money. Fortunately for you, I have a simple plan that you can follow to get great results with solo ads. Here it is:

First, establish how much traffic you want to generate. This will help you decide what kind of packages you want to purchase. You see, solo ads are great for driving targeted traffic. They are magical. You can literally increase traffic to your website whenever you want to. However, solo ads only work for certain business models.

The best business model you can use for solo ads would be list building. You see, the people who are getting your ads in their inbox are used to seeing dozens of emails every day. So in order for you to have success with these people, you must follow-up with them via email. These people need to be warmed up before they will purchase your products. So if you can get them to join your mailing list, they will learn more about you from your email marketing campaign. Send all the traffic you get from solo ads to a lead capture page.

When you are first starting out with solo advertising, it would be wise for you to test. Find out which publisher's would be the best fit for your market. Then, test out their small ad packages. If you can spend $25 and make $50 with a certain e-zine, scale up. Now that you know you can make a profit with the smaller ad package, purchase the larger one. This will make it easy for you to grow your list and increase profits.

All good goals will take patience and dedication. You must be focused with solo advertising. The great news is that these people are already interested in what you have to offer. The bad news is there are many people who are offering products and services to them. So it's up to you to stand out from the crowd. You can do this by practicing email ad copy. Write killer subject lines and email copy. I find that the shorter email copy always outperforms the longer copy. The subject line is so important.

To increase traffic to your website with solo ads, you need to write good subject lines. How will you get more visitors to your website if your subject line doesn't get them to open the email? Keep it short and simple. Offer a benefit that will cause them to open your email.

By the way, do you want access to a complete follow-up sales funnel that generates 100's of leads to your business every day, and generates $3,480 in sales per day?

If so, I suggest that you get your FREE 7 day money making boot-camp and get the exact system I personally use to generate $15,000 and more per month online by clicking here.

4 Brilliant Things You Can Do to Get Website Traffic From YouTube

So if you are looking for traffic within this age bracket, here are 4 smart things you can do to get website traffic from YouTube.

Study the Competition

You have to do this especially if you are a newbie on YouTube. Take time out to feel around and get used to the videos getting the most views and comments. You will find music videos, music scenes, gaffes, reality footages, documentaries and of course marketing videos there.

When you find something related to your niche, note it down. Is the video getting loads of views? What do you think it is missing? Do your own video and put your own personal spin to it. You will definitely get views.

Have a Heart

YouTube is free and there are millions of videos people can choose from. But beware it takes the smallest of things to turn them off. So do not make long videos or visual content that take eternity to load.

If you do not adhere to this, people will be avoiding your videos like the black plague. The most viewed videos on YouTube are not more than 5 minutes in length. YouTube is generous by offering a maximum of 10 minutes.

However, keep your videos within 5 minutes and use.MPG, AVI. or.WMV format, for quick viewing.

Allow Your Videos Entertain

YouTube is not where you give a speech or product presentation. Do not sell a product on YouTube. You are meant to generate interest and direct traffic to your site.

That is the way it works. Put something funny, exciting or controversial on YouTube and add your URL at the end of the video.

Viewers would want to see more from where that came from. And would be willing to give your site a look-in. This is where your marketing begins.

Word of Mouth

Once you have uploaded you videos and tagged them appropriately. Get your buddies and family to comment on them. Nothing gets you going like a 5 star rating. Let them throw in a few comments as well to build up activity around your video.

Your biggest undoing will be to upload a video and tell yourself it's a job well done. You still need to rev up some targeted traffic to your video to get it noticed among viewers and the good guys at YouTube.

Remember to milk this site for what it is worth, you need to make videos that are interesting. Demonstration videos or how to do stuff works great every time and is a cool way to show you are an authority in the field.

It is also a smart way to build a rapport with your prospects. Make time out to post videos consistently. Ask yourself, is this a one-off or are you willing to put videos on YouTube at least every 2 weeks.

The Pros and Cons of Using Short Term Strategies In Your Business

There are many ways for which a business can be run and each of these methods come with their pros and downfalls. In particular, there is a choice between using short term strategies or long term strategies for your business. In this article I'll be covering the short term strategies for online marketing and their pros and cons.

I think that whatever strategy someone chooses for their business depends on the business owners' personal circumstances, what they like, how much time they have to invest in their business, and most importantly, how much money they have.

For short term strategies, I find that the results are generated fairly quickly but they can be quite costly. So having a budget or lack thereof, is a strong factor in whether this really is for you.

2 Short Term Strategies You Could Think About Using For Your Business

For those of you who don't know what PPC is, it's Pay Per Click. PPC is a great short term strategy if you are looking for very quick, targeted leads. From experience, I can tell you that how quickly the results come for this method is staggeringly fast.

When I ran a PPC ad on Facebook, for my fan page, I got 30+ new fans overnight. And for my affiliate company, I got 30+ leads!

This might sound awesome and everything... but the bill for my PPC campaign made me freeze up and gasp in horror.

With PPC if you don't watch your ad campaign closely, prepare yourself for one hefty bill that could leave you with a very depleted bank account balance.

How it works is, you set a budget for the day on how much you're willing to spend. Each time a person clicks on your ad, you have to pay a certain cost. For example you set a daily limit of $10 per day, and you pay 30 cents per click. Once the total cost hits $10, your ad stops running for the day and it is reset to run the next day.

So the good? This short term strategy is a very fast way to generate targeted leads for your business. If you know how to convert your leads into sales then this should be a very good strategy for you. The ugly? It could destroy your budget if you don't plan before implementing it.

Next up is solo ads. One of the most popular and rewarding short term strategies out there in my opinion.

A solo ad is when you pay someone, usually a list broker, money for a certain number of clicks on an ad that you want the broker to distribute to their list.

So you write up an advertisement for something you want to promote. For an example lets' say the price for a solo ad is $75 for 250 clicks. Once your ad gets approved by the list broker, your ad will be shown to their list of leads until 250 clicks on your ad is generated. After that it will be withdrawn. Now out of those 250 people who have clicked on your solo ad, a fair number, probably around 100, will be added to your own personal list of leads!

Now that's when the email marketing fun begins!

Running solo ads is a very fast way for you to build your list. In internet network marketing, building a list is one of the most important things you can do for your business. The larger your list, the more chances of getting sales and sign ups.

Another good thing is you get to control how much you spend. There is no chance of you getting over billed like PPC. Usually there is a great range of prices for clicks to choose from. I'd like to say that solo ads are affordable for people who are low on cash, but the cheapest solo ad campaign I've seen is $75 for 250 clicks.

Depending on who you choose to purchase a solo ad from, the results for the number of people added to your list could vary. If you run a solo ad with a list broker who has had a lot of people propose the same ad for a product/service as you, don't expect a lot of added leads to your list.

This is one of those strategies where you get what you pay for. So if you find that the pricing is more than you can afford... well the only thing you can do is try to come up with the cash to pay for it if you think this is for you.

Since most short term strategies are done through upfront payment and billing, the moment you stop paying for them is when your business is stopped dead in its tracks.

So that's my outline on two short term strategies you can use in your business if you like the sound of them. Keyword Research: Long Tailed Keywords the Key to Targeted Website Traffic

If you do your homework well and research well into profitable keywords that Google users are using, you can predict changes in demand and even produce products, services and content before your competition know what is happening. By this you stay one step ahead and have money coming into your business very easily because you know what the people want.

If you are looking for targeted website traffic you need to realize the value of a keyword and how it applies to your site. If you own an online clothing store, do you make more sales from visitors searching for 'blue jeans' or 'brown chinos'? If you use a good keyword tool you can uncover words your potential customers are using, weave it around your content or advertising strategies and close in some good sales.

Getting good keywords you can use does not always mean good numbers. So getting a keyword that has 10,000 searches every day might not exactly convert in sales for you. Studies show that the words that do convert are over 70% of the keywords being used online and average only about 500 searches daily. These keywords are known as long tail keywords and convert better because they tell you when a person is in buying mode and not looking for free information on the Web.

The whole idea of a long tail keyword is that it is more specified and not general or broad-based. What this means is that a user is more targeted or specific with his needs. A user types in 'shoes' and this could mean; boots, brogues, stilettos, baby shoes, white sneakers and more. But if another user types in 'cheap blue Airforce Ones' you have a good idea of what he wants and is looking for. A good long tail keyword is usually made up of 4-9 keywords in a thread. If you want targeted traffic, try to rank high for long tailed keywords.

Google's AdWords Keyword tool is a free SEO research tool you can use. This awesome tool suggests keywords and also gives you a search volume figure. To use this tool effectively, ensure that when you are looking for a variants of a keyword that you set to exact and local monthly searches. This keyword tool works great.

Do not toy with keyword research if you crave targeted website traffic. Ensure that you use keywords that tally with what you are offering. If you try to manipulate keywords not related to your online business for a quick buck, it won't work. Choose keywords that work with your website. Nothing stops you from tweaking your site, product or service if you uncover keywords that you can tweak to your advantage.

Stay away from competitive keywords. They are already taken by the big guns. And you would most likely never make it to 'Google's Holy Grail 1st page' no matter how hard you try. So after coming up with long tail keywords

Leverage the Power of Your Articles Marketing

How exactly an article helps to drive traffic towards your website? Well, we can see it from different point of views: search engine optimization, video marketing, blogging and eBook.

If you use search engine optimization, it recommends having keywords in your contents. When you are writing an article, your headline should contain keyword about your content. And of course in the content, there will have some repeating keywords. This will enhance the visibility of your website in search engine.

What about video marketing? When the content of the article is about "how to... " you can produce a video with the same content and post it onto video directories. Then it will greatly attract traffic to your website.

In my opinion, what you are posting on blog is an article too. You are providing information about a product. Visitors are reading the blog post to retrieve information from it. Why don't you write an article with the same content and repost it on article directories? Then you can have more readers to access to your blog and increase your internet sales.

When you have a lot of quality articles in your library, you can consider taking some of the articles and combine it into an eBook. There are few options you can pick: sell the eBook and earn some bucks; use the eBook as a free gift and drive more subscribers into your subscriber list for further marketing (email marketing) or sell the eBook as a byproduct with your main product. Of course you have to make sure the eBook that you write is related to what you are selling.

From what I have stated above, you proceed to many other marketing alternatives after writing an article. Therefore, make article writing a habit. Submit an article per day to article directories. Produce a video based on the article you wrote. Combine related quality contents to produce an eBook. Paraphrase your article and post it onto your blog.

Here are some guidelines for you to follow when writing an article. Keep your language simple and clear. By applying this, readers can easily retrieve the information. Keep the length of article around 300-400 words. However, some article directories required new writer to have at least 400 words. Try your best to fulfill the requirement. After all you are submitting to the article directory for free.

Practice more on writing skill will definitely help to drive traffic to your website by following the steps that I have mentioned.

Knowing that J.O.B. is NOT going to fulfill my dreams, I started attending workshops and have finally COMPLETED a cash flow system that automatically RESTORES my bank account regardless of the number of withdrawals.

This idiot-proof Inbox Auto-Restoring ATM system is written such that you have NO CHANCE to miss any step and it WILL deliver its promise as long as you have faith in it.

Warning: I do not intend to reveal the system to too many people for free. Hopefully the system will still be up for grab by the time you visit http://www.cashflow2dream.com/

How To Increase Website Traffic - What You Need To Know And Where To Get Them

"How to increase website traffic?" This could be the most helpful question you could ask yourself if you are building a business online. As we all know it, website traffic is the lifeblood of any internet related business. No traffic means no visits, and therefore less people will know about what your service or product is all about.

Fortunately, there are tons of ways on how to increase website traffic. It's only a matter of implementing them, and how much time, effort, dedication or money do you want to spend. You may be taken aback why I mentioned the word 'money' here. I will explain this part later.

The two main types of website traffic

There are two main types of website traffic. One is free traffic, the other is paid traffic. Each one has its pros and cons. Free traffic is of course, free, but time-consuming, laborious at times, unpredictable and getting website traffic can take quite a long time. But then again this is free traffic generation and you cannot lose anything.

Now if you have enough money to spend in advertising your website, you can go for paid traffic. Hence, the 'money' in the paragraph above.

Paid traffic generation can be very effective and can get you lots of targeted visitors instantly. There is no need for search engine optimization, no need to get glued in front of your computer all day long and you can get very good traffic almost immediately. You just need to create an account with an advertising company, set up a campaign, and the advertising company will do the rest.

Free Traffic

If you are an online marketer starting up your web business with very little budget, you may want to increase website traffic by following the free route. Yes, getting website traffic is very much possible by using free traffic sources such as social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Especially in Facebook, you can create a Fan Page dedicated to whatever you promote online.

Other important free traffic sources include classified ads websites like Craigslist, Yahoo Classifieds, Squidoo, etc. These websites are surprisingly ranking high in Alexa.com, so it also means that a lot of people are going there to search for something they need --- and this might be your product or service.

Another free traffic generation technique includes article marketing - where you create a key-word rich article and submit them for free to article directories like Ezinearticles.com. The idea is to link your website or blog to this article that you submit, together with the right keywords, and search engines will do the rest. It's like linking your 'unknown website' to a more popular website so you can get an online presence.

Other free traffic sources include submitting your links to social bookmarking sites like Digg.com or Reddit, where the idea is, it's like letting the whole web know that you've done something, and this could be seen by other internet users as well.

You could also participate in similar niche forums where you can create a signature that bears your website link, and posting videos in Youtube.com then placing your link at the description section. If the reader or viewer will like your video, or find your post helpful (in case of forums), mostly likely, they will click your link and be redirected to your website.

Also, bloggers use SEO a lot (Search Engine Optimization), where they use proper keywords and install plugins dedicated to search engine optimization in order for their sites to rank high at search engine results pages. This entails some research needed but certainly you can do this too.

Paid Traffic

Getting website traffic through paid advertising can be viewed more like a business with expenses and profit. The expenses come from buying advertisements for traffic generation, while the profits come from the sales you were able to generate (be it from purchase of a product or service) as a result of traffic to your website.

Paid traffic does not necessarily mean paying expensive money, but there are a lots of advertising companies you can go to that charge only pennies for each traffic that they generate for your website. And this is targeted traffic, which means that your ad is going to appear right at the computer screen of your prospect that might be interested in your product or service.

One classic example of paid traffic is PPC (Pay-per-click). The concept of PPC is simple. You pay only for the number of clicks to your advertisement, which is pretty cool. If you are new to online marketing, you may or you may not be aware of this, but the text ads you see in every page of Google, Yahoo or MSN are all pay-per-click ads. Somebody paid in order for those ads to show up on the pages that you browse.

Another classic example is the use of banner ads. Images that appear on your computer screen are most likely banners, and they come in different sizes and formats. Unlike PPC, most banner advertising companies sell banner impressions by bulk. For example, you can buy 100,000 banner impressions for $50 - that is, one impression is equal to one view of your banner. If they click on your banner, they will be redirected to your website.

Still, another way on how to increase website traffic is the use of e-mail marketing. This technique is hugely popular to online marketers as it allows them to advertise using just one e-mail, to be sent out to thousands of people, sometimes even to hundreds of thousands at a time. The goal of this traffic generation technique is to get the prospect to actually read your e-mail and this is done by creating an interesting subject line. When the reader clicks on the link inside your e-mail, they will be redirected to your website.

Conclusion

These traffic generation techniques, either paid or free, are actionable and can be very successful if done correctly. The web traffic generation sources listed in here are just very few. While there are still a lot of traffic generation techniques out there, as on internet marketer, traffic generation is an all-important skill that needs to be learned. But once you learn how to generate website traffic, you will always have this skill and your profits and will surely soar.

2 Underutilized Methods Of Getting Website Traffic

Do you know the internet marketing "formula" to success? No it's not "the money is in the list". It has nothing to do with email marketing and list building. There's a "website traffic" formula that many people feel is the ultimate key to succeeding online. Would like to know what this formula is? I'm sure you do. Here it is:

Traffic + Conversions = Sales

Sounds simple huh? Well, it is. The more traffic you get to your website, the sales you will more than likely get. And that's TARGETED traffic that I am speaking of. You can't just go and get traffic from any place. There are people only trying to sell you "website blasting" services that will only make you waste your money.

If you're someone who's just starting out, or you've been in the online business world but aren't making a lot of sales right now, I'm sure you could benefit from more traffic right now. And in today's lesson, I want to share with you some tips on how you can get more traffic to your website simply and easily. In fact, here's traffic tip number 1:

1) Free ebook marketing

You could write up a quick ebook, promote it on your squeeze page, site, or blog, and a lot people to download it. If it's good, people will want to share it on their website, and will want to pass it along to others. You will want to state on the first page of your ebook that people have the authority to pass along this ebook to others.

You will want to embed your links within your ebook - preferably in the header of every page. This is easy to do if you're creating your ebook in Microsoft Word. You could actually start a viral marketing campaign that people will want to pass around to most of their colleagues. Here's another traffic tip that you can use:

2) Starting your own affiliate program

This can be a major profit source for you. Imagine having thousands of people promoting your product for you without any intervention at all. Well, this is a reality for a lot of people online. Starting your own affiliate program is something that can explode your traffic, all while making sales on autopilot.

It's great for you because you get a new customer from every sale, and it's good for your affiliates because they earn money, and don't have to create a website, sales letter, or product from scratch. You should really look into it. 3 great affiliate program services are Clickbank, Paydotcom, and Commission Junction.

These 2 tips for getting more traffic to your website is something that you should put into motion because they can wind up being major traffic sources for your business. Putting the ebook is easy (20 to 30 pages long), and to start your affiliate program, all you have to do is sign up for the affiliate sites, give your affiliates some marketing tools, and you're good to go.

Good luck with getting more traffic to your website.

How to Always Get Targeted Internet Traffic

Web traffic is a very important thing for an online business. It is through web traffic that one meets his future clients. Internet traffic will always make your business grow and expand to wider markets while making you the money you are looking for at the same time. It is through web traffic that you get people to know of the kind of products that you are dealing with.

Below are a few tips that will help you in driving up your web traffic.

By using internet marketing technique one is bound to attract a lot of traffic to the intended website. Internet marketing requires you to be in the know on the latest marketing skill and also the current taste and preferences out in the market.
Always give a feedback on blogs that are related to your site. By doing this you may grab for yourself some new customers and drive some traffic to your website. This can also be driving home a point on what you do. By doing this your potential customers will have some confidence in you even before they visit your website. By blogging you can also reach out to a wider number of people. You can use also your blog to introduce the products you have. In addition people who like your articles and ideas will always visit your website more often and they may also make purchases which will drive your sales up.
You are also encouraged to participate in forums where like-minded people congregate. This can lead to the sharing of ideas and skills which might open up new windows and opportunities in business. You could also learn new techniques for your business in these virtual meeting places.
By writing some good articles on your website and blog pages you can also get genuine customers who will be interested in your products. You could also add videos to showcase success stories to your potential customers; or even videos to introduce the variety of products you have to offer. Video links are a big hit in online marketing these days and can generate a lot of website traffic. The good thing with video links is that they attract a lot of attention, especially for the younger generation. These videos can be posted on sites like YouTube which has a lot of visitors.
Another way of generating internet traffic to your website is through the customization of your email signature. Experts had proven that in internet marketing, an email is one critical factor to get you going. By having an email signature on the bottom of your email, your audience will always have a way of getting back to you if they are interested in your products. An email link will always give the impression to the people that they are dealing with an honest person. They may even visit your website through the signature link. There is that possibility that they will visit and see what you have to offer. This will always generate a lot of traffic to your website and drive your sales up.

PS
I know it is real frustrating that you have to keep on struggling to make money online. The late nights and the hours put in seem to yield little or no results. I was also struggling until I found a SECRET word and whole idea behind this.

This new concept will certainly blow your mind away. Click here to go and have a look.

Write More Articles for Massive Traffic to Your Website

OK. You've tried article marketing a little bit. Maybe you've seen some results. But if you don't write more articles every day, you'll never get massive traffic to your website. You see, article writing is worth the time. However, many people quit before they see results. Let me put it into perspective for you.

I write hundreds of articles per month. I do this because I understand it takes time for each article I write to get indexed by Google and the top search engines. Article writing is not a quick fix. It will take lots of effort. In fact, if you aren't writing at least 5 articles per day online, just stop what you are doing. However, those 5 articles per day can be worth thousands of dollars to you. For example, let's say that you have a $28, $125, $500 and a $1,000 product on the back-end. At one sale per week for each product, you would be making $6,612 per month online.

So how do you write more articles?

First, decide on the topics you will be writing about. What market are you in? What do people want to learn about? If you are in the "make money online" niche, you would write about earning money on the internet and any other sub-topic related to earning an income. So what are you going to write about? Write about people's questions. If you can think of 5 questions someone might ask you in your niche, that's 5 potential articles you could write. Do you see where I'm going with this?

Second, turn off your cell phone, close all the tabs on your internet browser and simply write. I know this sounds obvious, but you would be surprised at how many people spend hours of time on these useless tasks. Keeping yourself focused and dedicated to your goals will bring you success. Be sure to brainstorm all the different ideas and topics you could write about.

Third, time yourself. This is great because it gives you a sense of accomplishment. It used to take me a full 40 minutes to write an article. When I started timing myself, I noticed that I could write rather quickly. I can now write an article in seven minutes flat. So I can write 8 articles in an hour. If you can do this, things will get very exciting for you. You'll start to see the money come in. Your conversions will begin to look promising.

If you take anything away from this article, let it be this: the key to success on the internet is taking action. The more content you put online the better your results will be. It REALLY is that SIMPLE.

Drug and Alcohol Interactions

Alcohol is so much a part of our lives. It is everywhere. It is easily obtained and used in many ways, for pleasure, business, dining, socially in groups and meetings. People tend to use alcohol without hesitation or thought. They also forget that it is a drug. In fact, it is the only drug that you don't need a prescription for, which makes it so dangerous. When people use alcohol with other medications it could be and life threatening. Alcohol was one of the first drugs discovered by people. As far back as the earliest civilization alcohol was consumed by many. Sailors were probably some of the first guinea pigs of drug and alcohol interactions.

Captains of sailing ships often needed extra crew members at the last minute and with the knowledge that it would be difficult to roundup willing volunteers, they would go to the local taverns and make a deal with the shady bartenders to spot a likely candidate in the bar. They would be slipped some chloral hydrate, a tranquilizer that was a forerunner of barbiturates, in their drinks rum or grog as they would call it. The chloral hydrate produced a supra additive effect by delaying and modifying alcohol metabolism and adding a sedative action all its own. The drug would knock the sailor out cold and before he knew what was happening and before he would wake up he would be so far out to sea there was not much he could do. He would be trapped. Putting aside the issues of alcohol abuse, we are also concerned with the very serious potential of alcohol interaction when used with other medications that we may take as prescribed or not. People rarely tell their doctors that they occasionally have a drink from time to time.

Although they are usually asked and told by their doctor to not use prescribed medications with alcohol people often ignore the warning label on the bottle which states-"Do not use with alcohol". Surprisingly there are an amazing number of drugs that can be very hazardous combinations with alcohol. There are many different medications that can enhance the effects of alcohol. Anti anxiety agents such as Librium, Tranxene, Valium, or Xanax should never be combined with alcohol. Beer is alcohol too. Reflexes can be slowed and mental function can be impaired at very low doses. Anti- depressants and even some tension headache relievers such as Florina l or Fioricet (which contain the barbiturate butalbital) can be a serious problem. Also antihistamines are another danger. They are found in allergy, cold and flu remedy's.

Always read the labels and ask the pharmacist about the cautions of medications that are safe.

Article Marketing: 5 Ways To Be Found Online

Here are the 5 ways writing articles can help you in your business:

Targeted audience: Anytime you publish an article you are have the opportunity to include a resource box at the bottom of the article. This is a box giving you the opportunity to share a gift that you are offering with a link to your website. So your resource box must contain some keywords relating to your field.

Increased Visibility: These article directories have millions of visitors each month. This increases your visibility as you are seen by a lot of people. It does open doors for your business.

Enhanced Credibility: There are a lot of people within your industry and everyone claims to be the best. This can only be proven with writing articles. Your writing establishes your expertise. Writing articles takes time as it involves you having to do a lot of research. Your articles position you as an expert within your industry as most of your competitors have not been writing even though they might more skills than you.

Product Creation: If you do not have a product or you are struggling to create a product, don't worry too much. Your articles can become your next product. You can create an eBook with each article as a chapter and all you need is about seven to ten chapters then the book is completed. Assuming you write an article a day, this means that within ten days your product is created. This product can be used to build a list and this is an opportunity to generate more traffic to your website.

Viral: Your articles can be viral. You can place your articles on your blogs, record your articles in an audio format and even make a PowerPoint presentation, record your voice over it and place it on YouTube. In this way you are adding a lot more value to your audience. Some people want to read, some want to listen and some also prefer to watch.

By looking at the above it shows the power of using articles. If you are currently thinking that is another workload I would suggest to you that it's not and this is why. You already have content if you blog and if you have some audio files you can have them transcribed.

Article Marketing really does drive traffic to your website. Start writing as this strategy will definitely grow your business.

Stay Safe When You Buy Advertising

You have probably heard, or discovered, that the Internet can be a den of thieves. Full of sites that will take your money and deliver nothing.

Nowhere is it more dangerous than when you buy advertising.

But there ARE ways you can protect yourself when you buy advertising.

Step 1 -- Check the site for current information, ownership, and contact information

No matter what resource you use, you must do your homework. This includes checking the site to see if the information is current.

If it isn't current, don't buy advertising from that site!

See if they offer a phone number or support center. It means they took time to set up a way for people to get support. Many sites offer email contact only. Send them an email, but remember to wait a few days for a response.

If you can't contact a site before you buy advertising, consider another source.

Step 2 -- Subscribe to the site's email list or ezine

If a site offers some form of email follow-up, or an ezine, subscribe to it to see what happens.

How a site follows up with visitors is an indication of how seriously the site owner takes their, and your, business.

It's never a good idea to buy advertising without subscribing to the ezine first.

Step 3 -- Look for testimonials

While testimonials can be faked, most thieves don't go to the trouble. Testimonials about any product you are going to buy are helpful, especially when you buy advertising.

If you find testimonials and there is a link to a site, follow it. It can be very helpful to see what products do well, before you buy advertising from that source.

If you don't see testimonials listed and still want some, ask the site owner. How, and when, they respond can tell you a lot about how they do business.

Step 4 -- Insure your payment with PayPal or a credit card

As of now, I really like PayPal for buying ads online. It offers a layer of protection that few other payment options provide.

While not everyone likes PayPal, they do offer more buyer protection than most online sites.

I hope you never pay for advertising that isn't run; but if you do, PayPal will protect you in most cases if you file a non-delivery report.

Step 5 -- Buy Advertising!

If after all this it feels right, it's time to make the purchase.

Here's what should happen:

In most cases you will make the payment before you give the site your ad copyYou should get clear instructions via email about how to proceedMany advertising companies let you enter the ad on the thank you page so don't close your browser window too quickly! You will be responsible to provide the ad in the format the site or ezine accepts. You should receive a run date, or start date if you buy ads on a website, via email after your purchase.

If you need any details before you buy, simply contact the site owner or publisher. How they respond before you buy will be very telling about how they treat customers.

Step 6 -- Don't panic if you don't get an immediate response

The people who run websites are busy, get sick, have family emergencies, sometimes take vacations, and sometimes are just too tired to work -- just like you and me.

And just like most online businesses, sometimes their "thank you page" malfunctions and you can't place your ad or download what you bought. While this is bad, it's not necessarily a sign of a scam.

If you know the site is valid, contact them via email or their contact form, or call them.

If several days pass, send another message saying you will request a refund, then follow through if you don't hear back.

In the years I've been online, I've bought more products than I can count. I've also had extended periods of illness where I could not perform for my customers like I want to perform for them. Life happens.

What this has taught me is that not everyone is at the top of his or her game at all times, and patience is a virtue.

That said; if you don't get what you paid for, you have every right to get your money back, period.

No matter what you are buying online, you must take care to evaluate the merchant, as well as the offer. By doing a few minutes of basic due diligence, and following your common sense, you will be able to stay completely safe when you buy advertising.

And that is a very good thing indeed!

Is It Worth Your Money To Purchase Traffic For Your Website

Something you might or might not be aware of is the fact that obtaining traffic to your internet site is one of the hardest things that any Online Marketer will need to face. When it comes to producing this traffic I should point out that there are quite a few ways that folks can go about getting it. Just about the most popular techniques for getting the traffic men and women are making an effort to get is through the search engines like google by utilizing proper search engine optimization. There are programs on the net today which will allow men and women to actually purchase website traffic. Needless to say when you choose to purchase traffic there are some things you are going to have to know so you don't waste your cash.

Loads of web sites that wind up selling web site traffic to individuals will not wind up providing these individuals with the quality traffic they need in order to produce cash. In fact you're going to see that some of the so called website traffic suppliers use various kinds of automated software or bots to create hits for your site. So while you are sitting back and watching your hit counter roll away as you think you are getting traffic, the fact of the matter is it is nothing more than a computer created visit. This also means that the money you spent on this traffic was a total waste mainly because not one real person came to your site.

As a result of the fact that many individuals are buying traffic these days, more and more of these dishonest organizations are popping up all over the place selling useless traffic. And you're going to have to try and avoid these kinds of scams no matter what, and there are some suggestions below which will help.

In relation to spotting a scam site, one of the primary indicators you are going to find is the actual website itself. Individuals wind up throwing these sites up left and right to be able to try and scam people out of cash, so if this site looks poorly created or just very cheesy you may want to stay away from it. You may end up coming across to an internet site selling traffic that looks very professional with a good design, at which point you ought to go through and see if there are any spelling or grammar mistakes made on the website. You ought to never find mistakes like this on a web site that is being run by a professional company, often made by an individual person sitting within their basement setting up these sites.

You're in addition going to want to see if they have their contact information somewhere on the web site. Web sites that do not have a contact page or any method to get in touch with them are probably just looking to scam you out of money. Some of these scam sites will have a page that offers contact information, in which case I would highly recommend that you contact these individuals to see exactly how long it takes for them to return to you. If it ends up taking longer than one day, you may possibly see that this is an additional site run by one particular person and it might be another scam.

If you talk to any successful Internet Marketer they're going to usually tell you that purchasing hits for your internet site is usually an entire waste of time and money. If you're looking to spend cash on purchasing traffic for your internet site I would suggest using a reputable program such as Google Adwords. Although you may wind up investing more money per visitor by using a pay per click program, at least you will know you are getting good quality traffic to your web page.

Paid Traffic: 20 Methods That Create Fast Results

At the end of the day we have two choices when it comes to traffic - we earn it or we buy it.

Today let's take the big picture look at paid traffic methods.

The major difference is that you earn free traffic by doing the work, rather than buying ads (on places where others do the work) for paid traffic.

Now let's look at the big picture of the paid traffic world.

Rather than grouping them by publishing, broadcasting or collaboration I thought it might be more useful to list them and then share a short insight about each...

Affiliates

If you develop a strong army of affiliates and work with them to promote your product for a commission you won't have to worry about traffic again. Jimmy Brown has famously said that his affiliates send him all the traffic he needs, and I believe him.

Email Marketing

Email marketing and ezine advertising are similar, but a bit different. The difference is that there are companies with very large lists that will sell you solo ads, but they don't publish an actual email newsletter. These companies range from well to lesser known, so you need to know who you are buying from and avoid spam complaints. But solo ad sends to these lists can work very well.

Reviews

Many large sites, often blogs, will sell you a review on their site. The costs and effectiveness varies, and these site owners won't fib and say a product is great if it's not in most cases. Getting a paid review amounts to an endorsement in most people's eyes, so the value here can be huge.

Forums

Many forums sell advertising space on their site. This is highly targeted advertising, especially if it will let you buy ads (usually banners) on a sub forum. Some forums will even send email for you to their registered members.

Banners

I'm not really sure why banners aren't used more often. A well-placed banner can bring in huge results, with low cost. Banners are often sold on a cost-per-thousand impressions basis, so it's very important to know where the site gets its traffic. If you target correctly, and if your banner creates intense curiosity, you can do very well for a low fee.

Webinars

You can host webinars, although that's hard for most people. Some webinar hosts will actually sell ad space (which you can buy) that show during the webinar. You can also pay someone to host a webinar for you. This is best done as a joint venture, but can work well.

Guaranteed Visitors

While I'm not a fan of guaranteed visitor programs (the traffic is usually of very low quality) there are situations where some reputable suppliers can send traffic that will help you. I personally believe this is best only for list building. Let them join your list first, so you can sell them later, and then send them to the sales page.

Ezine Advertising

This is one of my favorites, because it just works so well. When you match the product you are promoting to the interests of the readers of the ezine, very good things happen. It's vital to pay attention to this prospect matching idea when doing any form of advertising.

CPM

Simply put, the price you pay for every 1000 impressions (or times your ad is shown). CPM advertising can be very profitable and is excellent for list building.

Offline

So many online marketers overlook offline methods completely. That can be a mistake. The key with using an offline/online mix is to either create curiosity in your offline ad, or pre-qualiy a reader or listener, and then drive them to a site where they can take the next step.

Social Media

Social sites like Twitter and Facebook can be fun and profitable both. They can also be hugely time consuming. So why not skip the hard work and just buy ads on the sites? This is currently very limited with Twitter, but Facebook and others, like Digg, do offer on-site ads that work well.

Video

If you aren't ready to shoot your own videos, consider buying ad space on videos about your promoted topic. YouTube had offered this for some time and other video networks are getting on board. The key here, as with most advertising, is to create curiosity and interest, not try to close the sale.

Networks

Ad networks can be huge time savers if you have a larger budget. Many let you get started for only a few hundred dollars (others start at $10,000 or more) and they can place all sorts of ads for you on all sorts of websites. Highly targeted and you can control costs.

CPA

CPA can be a wonderful way to get new clients while controlling costs. For example, if you know a customer is worth $100 to you and your conversion is high, you can afford to spend enough to really zero in on your target market. Since you are not paying for tire-kickers you can feel sure your money is well spent.

Blogs

Many blogs accept advertising right on their site. Blogs often offer banner ads, in-post ads and more. Some will email their list for a fee or do paid reviews. Identifying top blogs in your niche and following them makes good sense. Here is my favorite blog.

Pay Per Click

Pay per click has gone through many changes. Affiliate friendly at first, many PPC providers turned on affiliates with a vengeance. Added to this is Google's habit of canceling accounts without any notice or recourse and you can see why many feel PPC is not an option. But it can be if you do it well. My favorite voice in this world is Perry Marshall.

Websites

Advertising directly on almost any site you want can be done with Google AdWords. Many people don't realize they can target a specific site, but it can be done. You might try an ad network, or search the site you want to advertise on for an "advertise" link at the bottom of the page.

Co-ops

Some physical product companies offer what is called co-op advertising, where the company rewards you for sales by purchasing advertising for you. While this does not apply to any online products I know of, if you are marketing a physical product online, ask the company about their co-op program.

Press Releases

While great if you have something that is actually news-worthy, press releases are often taught by people who have never used them. They sound good, and are easy to do, but in my view don't work for most people and should be avoided. Remember this when doing a press release - the people reading your release will mostly be reporters looking for a juicy or otherwise attention grabbing story. So be sure to give them one if you can do that ethically.

Re-Marketing

Re-marketing works well but most don't know about it. It works by setting up a RM campaign and when someone visits your site (this works best for site owners) a cookie is set. When that visitor goes to a website that is within the network of sites your re-marketing company works with your ad is shown to that visitor, in essence reminding them you want them to come back to your site.

There you have it - a view from outer space at the big picture of paid advertising. I hope it helps!

Engineers and Writers: How to Improve Website Visibility

Improve Alexa Ranking

Engineers love statistics. How about a mystery book where the mystery is solved through a maze of statistics... Now there's an idea! It is highly recommend that the engineer who wants to learn to write should begin a blog. It is an ideal place to begin the writing process, and to use statistics to your advantage.

Alexa

Getting back to statistics, all writers want to be read and if your blog or website is rated very poor on Alexa then it's like being on an island in the Pacific waiting for messages in bottles. It's difficult to tell what constitutes a "good" Alexa rating but here is a ballpark figure using the above metaphor and rounded figures:

30,000,000 or more: you're on the island and there's no hope of getting off it.10,000,000 or more: you're on the island and a message in a bottle washes up on shore.1,000,000 or more: a rescue plane flies overhead.500,000 or more: you are rescued!100,000 or more: you are declared a hero!10,000 or more: a wealthy sailor is sympathetic and rewards you with a million $.1,000 or more: your phone rings off the hook.1: you are Facebook!

There must be enterprising engineers out there who can do a better job than this, but you get the picture.

Alexa Tips

After discovering "hits and misses" and perusing the internet, here is a list of activities that seem to improve (lower) Alexa ratings:

1. Your most important task is to write quality posts in a well-organized and simple blog or website (less is better).

2. If your blog has a message that resonates with your readers then you are automatically "off the island."

3. Submit your articles (Posts) to Ezines (i.e. ezine.com, goarticles.com).

4. Try to get your articles on such social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Delicious, or Stumble Upon.

5. Optimize your site by using relevant "key words" and "Tags."

6. Socialize: join a forum, use Facebook, Twitter, etc.; do interviews. You get the picture. Having links into your site or blog is critical.

7. Download plug-ins or widgets to improve SEO (Google: Search Engine Optimization).

8. It's been noted that installing the Alexa tool bar will improve your ranking. Installing an Alexa widget in your sidebar or footer is another option.

Google analytics

After you get your website or blog running on jet fuel and your Alexa rating is good, you'll want to start looking at statistics for demographics such as # of visitors, locations, languages and a slew of other data points. A great place to do this is at Google Analytics

Creating a Long Term and a Short Term Web Traffic Strategy

This article should help those of you who are looking to grow your web business. It is critical that you employ both a long-term and a short-term traffic strategy to have the most amount of success. Why is that?

The benefits of a short-term strategy -

This kind of strategy is one where you will start to see the results of your efforts instantaneously. This typically involves paying for the traffic, whether it is Media Buying, Pay Per Click, Pay Per View, etc. It is important to have an effective strategy that is short-term for a couple of reasons.

1. You will find out if what you are selling actually sells - This is a key component. You do not want to wait for 90 - 180 days to find out that there is no market for what you are selling. You will want to know much more quickly so you can make the proper adjustments. The speed at which you will be able to adjust will separate the winners from the losers.

2. You will get the feeling of a quick win - This is critical. You need to experience a quick win. The best way to get a quick win is to have an effective short-term strategy.

The benefits of a long-term strategy -

A long-term strategy involves those things where you do the work today and reap the benefits of that work in perpetuity. Search Engine Optimization is one of the best long-term strategies. If you create a video or an article today, you could be receiving traffic from that video or article for years to come. Although there will be some cases where you will see immediate traffic, in most cases it is more likely that you will have to wait up to 90 days to see any results. The key to this strategy is to put out a lot of quality content and to see what works. However, it requires patience during the incubation period, while you are waiting to get back the results from the work that you are putting out there.

Both types of strategies by themselves can produce amazing results. However, if you can combine them together you can get the best of both worlds. The short-term strategies will be best for allowing you to adjust more quickly and the long-term strategies will have the greatest benefit for the long-term. So make sure to employ both strategies in your marketing efforts.

Ways to Increase Your Internet Traffic by Increasing Article Marketing Submission

Internet article marketing does require a lot of time. To maximize your submission speed great time management skill is needed. The following things will greatly speed up your article submission and hence your internet traffic will go up in no time.

Be consistent with the article format you are going to use. All the chapters, topics and sub-topics should have the same format and writing style. All the margins should be set on the same level just like the work is supposed to be. If you choose a format in the beginning you should stick to it till the end of the article.
Always use a simple checklist to make sure that all articles are correct before submission. This is done to check out for the following.
To check the spelling. Always make an effort to spell check your entire article to make sure that they are in good and presentable form for your readers. This can be done using the spell check that is normally available in your word processor.
Check out for key word richness. The key word should be well represented in the title of the article and also in the first paragraph. If it is not possible to put the key word in the first paragraph make sure you fix it in the beginning of the article.
Check your article for content cohesiveness. You should always read your article twice and try to derive sense out of the article. Make necessary changes where applicable and where you think your reader may not understand.
Always check out for your title uniqueness using Google.Always submit multiple articles to save time. Writing an article and submitting it and later writing another article and submitting is always cost a lot of time. A lot of time is wasted while logging in and out of article submission sites.
Always check out for broken links if the articles submission site allows for attachment of links in articles submitted.
One should always revisit the resource boxes and ensure that no changes will be made during submission. A different message should be filled out in every check box based on the marketing efforts. All the jobs to be done should be put ahead before submission. The submission of the article should be the last item to do. One could also use a squeeze page as a way to build an email list.
All the articles to be submitted should be formatted to include HTML programming code if the will have a list of numbers and bullets.

By ensuring that you do all the above in your articles submission, the amount of traffic accessing your website is bound to happen. By doing this you will be earning quite a considerable amount of money each day as your business continues to thrive. Article writing can also make a good career business for anyone wanting to make a living.

PS
I know it is real frustrating that you have to keep on struggling to make money online. The late nights and the hours put in seem to yield little or no results. I was also struggling until I found a SECRET word and whole idea behind this.

This new concept will certainly blow your mind away. Click here to go and have a look.

A Beginners Guide On How To Generate Leads

I think it's safe to say that the ability to generate leads is the number one dilemma that most people face when it comes to internet marketing. Not only is it the most common problem, but it's also the most notorious reason for putting thousands of people out of business too.

Pretty scary right?

So why is it so hard to generate leads in the first place? I mean, since having a steady stream of leads is the beating heart of a business, why are so many people struggling with it?

Most people dive right into the business building activities before drawing up a day to day plan on what to do. Believe it or not, but having a daily plan of action and mapping out what you are going to do is the key to success, not running around trying every lead generation strategy that exists on the planet.

Writing up a business plan is the money making skill and the sign of a true entrepreneur.

I didn't believe it at first until I experienced the hardships and drawbacks that not having a plan wrecked on my business...

Ironically, to generate leads you don't jump straight into it first off. You plan and focus your efforts on everything you need to know for one strategy and take it from there.

That's not to say learn everything first and then implement later. You implement as you go along. This saves a lot of time and any mistakes you learn along the way is a valuable lesson learned.

Mistakes are inevitable, essential and vital for growing your business.

Trust me on this, this is how to generate leads the right way. Lead generation will be consistent and easier when you have a clear idea of how, why and where your leads and coming from.

See most people have this the other way around, where they dive right into a lead generation strategy and hop around because leads weren't popping up in their inbox after day 1.

So be patient and don't stop trying. Be consistent and be willing to learn and master your chosen marketing strategy.

How Does Having A Plan Help Me To Generate Leads?

Alright so how exactly does having a plan enable you to generate leads?

Well first off, when you actually take the time to sit down and draw up your daily plan of action, it reinforces the notion that you are serious about succeeding in your online business and that this isn't some hobby that you took up for fun.

Knowing what you're going to be doing for the day will save you a lot of time and allow you to focus on the money making activities, such as lead generation.

As I mentioned earlier, focus on mastering one strategy. Do NOT jump from one strategy to the next. Be aware that results take time and that they do not happen overnight. Be as laser focused as you can in the beginning and develop this into a habit.

Finally, when you start to implement your daily plan of action consistently, leads will start coming in and steadily too. Do it for long enough and you will reap the fruits of your labours. Having a plan will allow you to reap the benefits a lot faster than not having one.

And that's how to generate leads for your business. If you would like to learn more about online marketing, or lead generation tactics, then visit here.

How to Increase Website Traffic With Solo Ads

Are you not getting enough traffic to your website? If so, you might want to learn how to increase website traffic with solo ads. Solo ads are probably the most targeted traffic you can get. However, if you do not understand the process, things can become very difficult for you. Here's a strategy that you can use to make solo ads a great traffic source:

First off, how much traffic do you want? You see, it's not really the amount of traffic you get to your website that makes money; it's the quality of traffic you get that counts. So if you really want to make this work, focus on high quality e-zines.

Here's what I do:

I first contact the e-zine owner. Why? Well, it's because this will tell me if I can trust them, and then decide whether or not I want to order one of their ad packages. Understand this, it is really easy to lose money online and if you don't communicate before you buy, you will most likely lose some money. And I know you don't want this happening to you. I then ask them what kinds of people are on their list. In other words, what are the people interested in. Once I understand what kind of products they are interested in, I can then locate a product that would convert well.

Only promote a product that will make a profit. Find a product that will earn you at least $90 per sale. If you have your own product funnel, don't worry about this step. The only thing that I recommend is that you have a solid follow-up email marketing campaign in place so that you make the most money for your marketing efforts.

You can literally choose the amount of traffic you want with solo ads. This is what makes this traffic building technique so magical. Some publishers offer packages that guarantee a certain amount of visitors to your website. For example, I just purchase a package of 200 clicks for $125 yesterday. I received 90 subscribers and my sales page converted at.05%. So I made 4 sales. I chose to promote my own product, which cost $120. So I made $480 in sales and a profit of $355. Guess what? These were recurring sales so I get paid for the life of the membership.

I suggest that you always test a publisher's smaller solo ad packages so that you can scale up your marketing when the time is right. For example, I first purchase the $67.50 package before I tried the $125. This allowed me to be certain I would make a profit with the larger package.
